76  TekniWAP Support / Support / text messaging and billing on: January 09, 2004, 10:37:15 pm
Yeah the only thing she would be getting charged for is the incoming text messages.
Sending is free through my site but Nextel charges I think like 15 cents a pop for each message you receive.

I believe the i730 has a color browser.
But the only thing that is in color is the pictures.

At the moment... no. d'oh!

Right now I have no way of disabled just a specific link from a specific phone.
I'm going to try and work something out because I remember someone else asking me about this for the same reason.

I'll see what I can program up...  Think

Hey everyone,  the email server was down for the past 24 hours but its up now.
All the addresses @teknidude.com  were not working.
My hosting company was moving the email server around so I was stuck with having no email for a day.  Mad

That also means that any new sign-up's didnt get their activation/welcome email.
If you need help just PM me or email me at jason@teknidude.com

Sorry about that, Shooting

More automation, getting your username/p@$$word for TekniWAP instantly....

If you visit http://www.teknidude.com/wap/index.asp?page=whoami you can now create a username/p@$$word for your TekniWAP account.

If your phone is a Premium Member but you never got a username for it then this is for you,
just visit that page and fill in the required info.
Easy as that!!  No more having to email me the info. Applause

(Please note that this username is seperate and different then the one you use on this support forum.)

84  TekniWAP Support / Ideas & Suggestions / Net Alert on: December 11, 2003, 04:29:41 pm
Its updated!  Check it out. Dancing
The WAP version of the Net Alert sender that is.

You don't have to type in the SubHost or the _atlsnup2.adc.nexteldata.net any more.

All you have to do is type in the set of numbers with the dash (XXXXX-XXXXX)
Thanks for the idea!=D>

I am talking about the desktop program.  The contacts I add only stay there untill I close and re-open the program.  It doesn't store them between uses. Question

OK, I'll have to look into this... I'm not sure of why that would happen.
 Think

* What operating system are you on?

I think that you should make an easier way to send someone an alert to TekniWAP throught your phone.  YOu have to manipulate all the text to get the numbers in.  Maybe have just one screen to input the numbers, and have the dash go in automatically, then have it automatically add the atlsnup2......etc.......

By The Way, on the i730 Phones, the site has full color.....

True....

I made it that way because I was never sure if some phones used something besides the 'atlsnup2....'  at the end.
Well I have NEVER seen a phone use anything BUT that, so I will be changing it. Very Happy

So what parts of the site are in color? All those little icons? Dancing
I am still on an i90 so I wouldn't know.

Ohh, i think your getting things confused, well actually my naming of programs is confusing. d'oh!

The desktop application TextPager is completely different then the TekniWAP TexPager.
The saved contacts in the desktop program have to be manually added in by clicking Add in the menu.

You made me think of a good idea though, have the dekstop application use the contacts from TekniWAP...

(Well I think this is what you meant...) Very Happy

GotAIM is an old program that actually shouldn't even be available anymore because AIM now blocks everyone's IP address so you wouldn't be able to use it anyway.

For TextPager, try checking the file C:\WINDOWS\TextPager.ini and see what is inside it if it is there.
