Do you click the connect to phone button alone to see if it will hook up to just the phone?
Or does it just give an error when doing a ringtone?

If it hooks to phone with the connect button, then its a bad ringtone. Must not be in the correct format.....for whatever phone you have (since U didn't say)
If it won't hook to phone with just the button, then you have to make sure you don't have a suspended app running. Turn phone off and then back on to reset.

<a href="http://www.harrythompson.com/troubleshooting/webjal.htm">Go here for instructions on WebJal.</a>

<a href="http://support.teknidude.com/index.php?topic=193.0">Read what I write here for this guy</a>

<a href="http://www.harrythompson.com/troubleshooting/ringtones.htm">Last here is the page on how to create your own ringtons.</a>

The first two links are to help you get WebJal and your phone communicating properly. The last is to make sure that your ringtones are done correctly. You must follow his instructions, I have realized if after pulling out my 30 seconds, that I forget to dbpower amp on my ringtone for the second time, that it will give me that error. FOLLOW HIS INSTRUCTIONS TO A T, and you will be golden!
