I know there was a crash...I've only been a memeber for a few months but I'm still showing network not available....and I cant acces my sub id to reload??? is my sub id still on file...or am I screwed, should I delete tekniwap from my phone??? thanks for the newbie help....MC

thanks.. Confused    I'm  just wondering if they have my info on file? like my sub id?  i cannot acces it...it almost seems locked.....when I hit reload you can see the little globe for a second then it goes away......I just want to know what to do? thanks... MC

I had the same problem today, my netalert for Tekniwap just disappeared even though I had it locked.  I just picked up a replacement phone yesterday, so I figured it was something I did.  I went to Teknidude.com, logged in and sent myself another alert.  It took about 4 hours for the alert to make it to my phone.

If your a subscriber to Tekniwap, your Sub-ID can be found in your "Members Section".  Log into Teknidude.com with your user ID and p@$$word, then go to "Edit Account" and there you will find your Sub-ID as you entered it.  Then you can send yourself another netalert.  Of course if your not a premium user, then I don't know what you'll need to do.

On another note - Does the fact that my Webjal doesn't allow me to log in to the server have anything to do with our Tekniwap that disappeared as well?  My Webjal was working fine this afternoon and about the time I lost my netalert, I also wasn't able to log into Webjal anymore.

Hope this helps, any clues about the Webjal?

thanks...I am not a premieum memeber yet.....I did lose everything including my sub id....I called nextel and asked to have the "pay as I text" setup...no monthly fee...just charges like a dime to send and receive thru their portal.....I think?  Laughing

This happens when they go and clean the Nextel servers for clients they see as not using SMS so they turn off the data pipe for your account, just call up and have the Pay as you go messaging turned back on and then ususally wait about 2 hours and power cycle your phone and the icon should re-appear and you will have a new Sub-ID that you will have to change on the site for the anounce link
