this is a great idea because then we can text other members who have the free incoming and can text them using the text capability

It would be nice to have an address book feature on the email link.   It would keep me from having to put in an email address manually every time.

the solution is the i860.

the i860 messaging service in built into the operating system and not a web page.  You can send messages from the Contacts menu.

Buit doing it that way then nextel is most likely going to charge you the 10 cents per message.
