i saw pictures posted all over....one guy said he was selling one for 2000...thats nuts

Anyone know when the phone is coming out officially?

There is no official word on the launch of the i930. The product was rumored to be available fourth quarter 2004. I knew about the i860 and had a launch date three months before launch. There is still no offical launch date. The phone may not hit the shelves. Nextel and sprint are merging (http://sprintnextel.mergerannouncement.com). Nextel service will migrate to CDMA and iDen will phase out.
