I have nextel and the service is great almost anywhere I want to use it except at my parents house.  I am trying to talk them into switching to nextel but they cannot get it to work in their house.  Does anyone have any sugestions.  I saw signal repeaters but they are very expensive.  Please help.

You have 3 options..

1. have your parents move.... (or contact nextel and request a network ticket. site devolipment is partically based on cust request for coverage at any given area)
2. get a repeater
3. Some companies purchased a car kit with a hard mounted antani. Then placed it on thier biulding. They would then have a station that they plug in thier nextel phone and that phone would use the exteernal antani.. you gain about 3 DB out of this... This may work if the signal is not too bad....

thanks for the advise I have already contacted nextel about the problem and the have advised me of a possible date that a tower will be installed.  The repeater thing I thought about but it is just to much money, I think they will just tough it out with Cingular for the time being and when the tower is installed switch to nextel the next day.
