In order to be able to control the winamp controller is it done thru normal nextel online? or do you have to have a data packet and to have a java app? I have gotten it to work with no problems computer to computer but where on your phone do you put in the IP, port, p@$$...etc?

P.S. I am a premium user but was unable to post in the other forum. When I made my user ID it never asked for sub-id or anything like that.

All you need is basic internet access on your phone. It runs just like a web page.

If you are running your computer behind a router or firewall, make sure you are forwarding/unblocking the port that the server is running on.

Once you have that working you access it with the URL: http://your_ip_address:portnum/
Example: http://192.168.1.100:8081/
If you need to find your IP address then click here (http://www.teknidude.com/ip.asp).

Send a net alert with the URL directly to your phone for easy access.
