Hello all,

I was informed that someone on this site can help me with my problem. I want to write an application (or somehow communicate to our server) the time and date stamp that someone pushed a button on the phone. for example

you are running my java application on a phone and you push button #1, I want that phone to send a time and date stamp and that you pushed #1 to my server.

I would like to stress that this application works on a phone with an expensive plan(text messaging and internet data com) and i do not want our customers to have to get an expensive plan to use my app.

any suggestions would be great.?.? some way to maybe send it via text message? basically, send it using a method most everyone has access to...
