Title: Two Way Message Alias Post by: DJFANTASIA on July 14, 2004, 07:02:18 pm Two Way Message Alias
Whenever I send a two way message some people get my phone number which is in front of the @messaging.nextel.com. I use 2way alot and since the Nextel is my "private line" I would rather not divulge my phone number. Can anyone lead me to a solution to this problem I would like to use an alias but Nextel dosen't support this option. Maybe a online solution that i can route my two way traffic through. Any help would surely be appreciated TIA FAN Title: Two Way Message Alias Post by: DJFANTASIA on July 26, 2004, 05:53:32 pm Hey 52 looks and no answer somebody help me out
Title: Two Way Message Alias Post by: AaronFM on July 29, 2004, 12:05:31 pm You could set up an alias/forwarder on your email server/ISP. so that DJFANTASIA@isp.net gets forwarded to ##########@messaging.nextel.com

All messages sent will now come from USERNAME@tekniwap.com instead of showing your phone number. -Jason Title: Hey Jason Post by: rescue1 on January 19, 2005, 02:02:07 pm I've tried restting my carrier in prefs, however it always defaults back to Free Incoming.
Any ideas, thanks Title: Re: Hey Jason Post by: TekniDude on January 20, 2005, 03:45:57 pm Quote from: rescue1 I've tried restting my carrier in prefs, however it always defaults back to Free Incoming. Any ideas, thanks Certain phones have been handling the pager code differently so I have updated the page and everything should be working again. Try it out and let me know if it still does not change. -Jason
